In the last week we have been busy working on a new design and on some new functions which resulted in this new version of MrBrick.nl. In this new version we have decided to focus on our creations by introducing a new type of "post" called MOC. This version also offers us more freedom in the way we want to display content which in our opinion is more interesting for our audience. Among this is the ability to provide our viewers with multiple languages and we kicked off by adding dutch content! We hope that you like the new design and will enjoy our website.

Ocean Research Team

This research platform lies near the shore of the diserted Island Brickton. The team is specialised in Researching the animal life in the ocean and on the Island. With there helicopter they visit the Island every week. The gatered research meterial is brought back to the platform where they can analyze it in there laboratory.

The helicopter is inspired by Lego set 7741.

I always liked the Octan Buildings from lego, so I was very happy with the Octan Gas station Lego Set. I build some gasstation MOCS last year, so it was time for an Octan Office Building!

Creation is inspired by Wayne's World, party on!

I'm into Lego military at the moment, inspired by the weather in the Netherlands, I started to build a 'snow patrol'

That turned into a Artic defense unit. I'm still buisy with the base / outpost (I'm not sure yet, what it becomes) and the minifigs. These two vehicles are finished (maybe I add some decals later).

This is the ICV-2 (Ice Cream Van - 2)



I started to build the tracks, I have no money to buy a nice new power miners set with tracks included. So I used the chains of my old technics set (Fork Lift and Dirt Bike). That's why the tracks are very small!

And the: SDB-3 (Snow Dune Buggy - 3)



For this snow dune buggy I used some parts from the snow scooter that came out the Lego 7724:City Advent Calendar.

This building is an interior I created by building different furniture. I started with the couch, and then I build the kitchen, television set and Apple Imac Computer with desk and chair.

This Military Outpost (Base) is a fantasy building, but I think it could be real. I used the crew and cars from Lego Indiana Jones set 7622 to add some live to the building, because it is a big grey mass of stones, that was very hard.

Last weekend we found some new Lego sets available in local toy stores in the Netherlands. The sets sighted include Lego Pirates, Lego Indiana Jones and some new accessories.
